Our History

Estudio Bonomi, with over 80 local and international professional activity, has a long history of advising and auditing companies and institutions engaged in a variety of activities.

It was founded in 1942 by Professor CPA Américo Bonomi Álvarez. It is currently led by CPAs Julio C. and Diego Bonomi de Azevedo and Nicolás, Sebastián, and Gonzalo Bonomi Defféminis, members of the third generation of Bonomi Accountants at the firm. Together with CPA Diego Di Leoni, CPA Diego Rodríguez, and CPA Andrea Quintas, lead the team, combining traditional styles and values with the application of new developments in professional knowledge and applied technology.

Our firm is a member of Nexia, a leading global network of independent accounting and consulting firms, headquartered in London and present in 119 countries, with 186 firms and more than 519 offices.

From our headquarters located in Montevideo, at Zabala 1422, we serve both local clients and those throughout the country.

From our Free Trade Zone office, located in Zonamerica, we focus on advising other Free Zone and international clients.

The Firm is registered as an Auditor with the Inter-American Development Bank and the Central Bank of Uruguay.
